We are seeking a Climate Resilience Project Manager to join our team remotely or in any of our national offices . Responsibilities:

  • Natural hazard and climate change risk assessment

  • Climate resilience analysis

  • Mitigation and adaptation design

  • Hydrologic and hydraulic (H&H) analysis for assessing flood risk

  • FEMA Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant application scoping and preparation

  • Communicating with clients, preparing project proposals, performing projects on time and within budget

  • Supporting growth and development of climate change adaptation and infrastructure resilience services

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in natural hazard and climate change risk analysis and management

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or climate science

  • Advanced degree preferred

  • Experience with coastal resiliency

  • Experience with H&H modeling and design, natural hazard risk and resilience analysis, and working with climate and weather data

  • Experience and technical expertise in planning, managing, and implementing climate change adaptation and resilience strategies

  • Experience in writing proposals, grants, etc.

  • Technical writing preferred

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or ArcGIS software

  • Knowledge of HEC-RAS and other H&H applications

  • Experience with sustainability concepts and analysis is a plus
